One of the highlights of the 1999 USDAA Grand Prix of Dog Agility was the presentation of the USDAA Lifetime Service Award to BRAG's own Bill Sterling. Bill was recognized for his years as a USDAA Judge and an enthusiastic supporter of the sport of dog agility.

The presentation followed the Veterans Grand Prix Awards, where Wiley, Bill's 12 year old All American placed third. Bill and Wiley are truly two of the favorites in the world of dog agility.

Unfortunately, in March, 2000, the agility community lost a wonderful competitor and friend. Bill passed away because of AIDS related complications.

Four years later, Wiley passed away near the age of 17 (05/05/1987 - 03/19/2004).
